Use of Google Ads conversion tracking

1. The data controller uses the online advertising program “Google Ads” and, within that framework, utilizes Google’s conversion tracking service. Google conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”).

2. When a User accesses a website via a Google ad, a cookie required for conversion tracking is placed on their computer. These cookies have a limited validity period and do not contain any personal data, so the User cannot be identified by them.

3. When the User browses certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and the data controller can see that the User clicked on the ad.

4. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie, so they cannot be tracked across Ads customers’ websites.

5. The information—collected using conversion tracking cookies—is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads clients who have opted into conversion tracking. This allows clients to see the number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not have access to information that could be used to identify any individual user.

6. If you do not wish to participate in conversion tracking, you can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

7. Under Google Consent Mode v2, Google also uses two new types of cookies: ad_user_data and ad_personalization, which are based on the user’s consent and relate to the use and sharing of data. The ad_user_data cookie is used to grant consent for Google to use user data for advertising purposes. The ad_personalization cookie determines whether data may be used to personalize ads (e.g., remarketing). The data controller ensures that the appropriate consents are obtained and revoked via its cookie banner/panel. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent prior to withdrawal.

Use of Google Analytics

1. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer, to help analyze how users use the website.

By activating IP anonymization on this website, Google will truncate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

3. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate how the User has used the website, to compile reports for the website operator regarding website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage.

4. Within the framework of Google Analytics, Google does not associate the IP address transmitted by the User’s browser with any other data held by Google. The User may prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in their browser; however, please note that in this case, not all features of this website may be fully available. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) via cookies by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=hu

Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

3. Right to erasure

You have the right to request that the data controller erase personal data concerning you without undue delay, and the data controller is obligated to erase personal data concerning you without undue delay under certain conditions.

4. The Right to Be Forgotten

If the data controller has made the personal data public and is required to erase it, it shall, taking into account available technology and the cost of implementation, take reasonable steps—including technical measures—to inform data controllers processing the data that you have requested the deletion of links to, or copies or replicas of, the personal data in question.

5. Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request that the data controller restrict data processing if any of the following conditions are met:

  • You contest the accuracy of the personal data; in this case, the restriction applies for a period enabling the data controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
  • the processing is unlawful, and you oppose the erasure of the data and instead request the restriction of its use;
  • the data controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • You have objected to the processing of your data; in this case, the restriction applies for as long as it has not been determined whether the controller’s legitimate grounds override your legitimate grounds.

6. Right to data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to a data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom you have provided the personal data (...)

7. Right to object

In cases where data processing is based on legitimate interests or on the exercise of official authority as legal grounds, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data by (...) including profiling based on the aforementioned provisions.

8. Objection in the case of direct marketing

If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for this purpose, including profiling, provided that it is related to direct marketing. If you object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, the personal data may no longer be processed for that purpose.

9. Automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing—including profiling—that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

The preceding paragraph does not apply if the decision:

  • is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and the data controller;
  • is authorized by Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject, which also provides for appropriate measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests; or
  • is based on your explicit consent.

Timeframe for Action

The data controller shall inform you of the measures taken in response to the above requests without undue delay, but in any event within 1 month of receipt of the request.

If necessary, this may be extended by 2 months. The data controller will inform you of any extension of the deadline within 1 month of receiving the request, stating the reasons for the delay.

If the data controller does not take action in response to your request, it will inform you without delay, but no later than one month from the date of receipt of the request, of the reasons for not taking action, as well as of your right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority and to seek judicial remedy.

Security of Data Processing

The data controller and the data processor shall take appropriate technical and organizational measures, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, as well as the nature, scope, context, and purposes of the processing, and the risk of varying likelihood and severity to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including, where appropriate:

1. pseudonymization and encryption of personal data;

2. ensuring the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of the systems and services used to process personal data;

3. in the event of a physical or technical incident, the ability to restore access to personal data and the availability of the data in a timely manner;

4. a procedure for regularly testing, assessing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the technical and organizational measures taken to ensure the security of data processing.

5. Processed data must be stored in such a way that unauthorized persons cannot access it.

In the case of paper-based data carriers, this is achieved by establishing a system for physical storage and archiving; in the case of data processed in electronic form, by using a central access control system.

6. The method of storing data using IT must be selected so that its deletion—taking into account any differing retention periods—can be performed upon the expiration of the data retention period or when necessary for other reasons. The deletion must be irreversible.

7. Paper-based data carriers must be stripped of personal data using a document shredder or by engaging an external organization specializing in document destruction. In the case of electronic data carriers, physical destruction must be ensured in accordance with the rules governing the disposal of electronic data carriers, and, if necessary, the data must be securely and irreversibly deleted in advance.

8. The data controller implements the following specific data security measures:

To ensure the security of personal data processed on paper, the Service Provider applies the following measures (physical protection):

1. Documents must be stored in a secure, lockable, dry room.

2. If personal data processed on paper is digitized, the rules governing digitally stored documents shall apply

3. The Service Provider’s employee responsible for data processing may only leave the room where data processing is taking place to secure the data storage media entrusted to them or to lock the room.

4. Personal data may only be accessed by authorized persons; third parties may not have access to it.

5. The Service Provider’s building and premises are equipped with fire safety and security systems.

IT Security

1. The computers and mobile devices (and other data storage media) used in data processing are the property of the Service Provider.

2. The computer system used by the Service Provider that contains personal data is equipped with virus protection.

3. To ensure the security of digitally stored data, the Service Provider performs data backups and archiving.

4. Access to the central server is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data on the computers can only be accessed with a username and password.

Notifying the data subject of a data breach

If the data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, the data controller shall notify the data subject without undue delay.

The information provided to the data subject must clearly and in plain language describe the nature of the data breach and provide the name and contact details of the data protection officer or other contact person providing further information; it must describe the likely consequences of the data breach; the measures taken or planned by the data controller to address the data breach must be described, including, where appropriate, measures to mitigate any adverse consequences resulting from the data breach.

The data subject does not need to be informed if any of the following conditions are met:

  • the controller has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures, and those measures were applied to the data affected by the personal data breach, in particular measures—such as encryption—that render the data unintelligible to any person who is not authorized to access the personal data;
  • the controller has taken further measures following the data breach to ensure that the high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subject is unlikely to materialize in the future;
  • notification would require a disproportionate effort. In such cases, data subjects must be informed through publicly available information or by taking similar measures that ensure data subjects are informed in an equally effective manner.

If the data controller has not yet notified the data subject of the data breach, the supervisory authority may, after assessing whether the data breach is likely to result in a high risk, order that the data subject be notified.

Reporting a data breach to the authority

The data controller shall notify the competent supervisory authority of the personal data breach without undue delay and, where feasible, no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the personal data breach, to the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 55, unless the data breach is unlikely to pose a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. If the notification is not made within 72 hours, the reasons for the delay must also be provided.

Review in the case of mandatory data processing

If the duration of mandatory data processing or the periodic review of its necessity is not specified by law, a local government ordinance, or a binding legal act of the European Union, the data controller shall review, at least every three years from the commencement of data processing, whether the processing of personal data by the data controller or by a data processor acting on its behalf or pursuant to its instructions is necessary to achieve the purpose of the data processing.

The controller shall document the circumstances and results of this review, retain this documentation for ten years following the completion of the review, and make it available to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (hereinafter: the Authority) upon the Authority’s request.

Right to File a Complaint

Complaints regarding any potential violations by the data controller may be filed with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information:
